EMS is for when my muscles need repair.
EMS has multiple applications from rehabilitation and relaxation to muscle strengthening, body toning, weight loss and improving explosive movement.
EMS is dangerous.
The body’s structure prevents internal organs from feeling the effect of the electrical impulses.
Train Electric sticks to strict safety protocols which prevents injuries from over training.
XBody equipment, used by Train Electric, only uses low frequency electrical impulses.
Health conditions of all types are assessed by our trained staff to permit treatment only if it is safe and only to the levels that are healthy.
EMS is really one of those tummy belts from the 80’s on steroids.
The principles are the same, but it is like comparing a bicycle with a spaceship.
How often can I train?
No more than once every 48 hours. Ideally, twice per week.
How will I feel afterwards?
Your muscles will remain stimulated for 48 hours and in some cases may ache. If they did not, then they have not worked hard enough such that the muscle fibres tear, microscopically, repair and grow stronger.
What conditions and circumstances prevent someone from participating in EMS training?
Epilepsy and / or seizures
Active electrical implants (pacemaker, insulin pump, cardiac defibrillator)
Pregnancy or suspected pregnancy
Diabetes mellitus
Febrile diseases
Kidney and liver disease
Severe heart disease
Active blood clots
Active Tumours
Infected or wounded areas of the skin (new tattoos)
